A 40 U

Evertt writes, "I have a 1954 40 utility....It has 14.9 x 26 rear tires and 600 x 16 fronts. I've had it close to 20 years and have had to do several small repairs. The worst was having the head rebuilt because the last owner mixed up the two valve cover bolts and the valve train failed to get oil for several years. I am facing the cost of two new rear tires soon. They can be had because they are a common tire size for self propelled combines, they are not cheap though."
