Industrial 40U

The owner of this tractor wrote, "It seems to have original factory paint on most of the tractor. In addition, I was told...that the tractor had been a part of the Moline, ILL maintenance department since it was new until the employee that used it there retired and brought it with him to my area. I was also told that JD at that time would not allow a dealer to sell farm equipment to an industrial user unless it was painted Industrial Yellow. So, I call it an Industrial 40U....I modified the tractor by installing a 12v system and oversized tires front and back."
